Even I'm chuckling now<gg> Sometimes my wife and kid think I've gone nuts...sitting in here laughing at my computer. I can't compare the P810 and G810. Is the P810 new? I recall Viewsonic only had three 21 in monitors last year. DO NOT be influenced by the fact I have a P815 and like it. I use NEC's at work and like them too. I like thumbwheels for brightness control on my NECs. I like the aesthetics of the Viewsonic monitors. The frame is a little smaller. It is like buying home stereo speakers. There are a lot of good sounding ones but they do not show up in this house unless they match the furniture. Also, I listen to and like my speakers but without a side to side comparison (which as discussed before will not happen) I cannot rate my speakers compared to yours). I always thought SONY monitors (Trinitron CRT..one of three CRT platforms..also in some Viewsonic and other monitors) had good picture quality. What about the SONY CPD 520 GS?? I see 253 of them in stock at buyz.com for $1001.78 NO SHIPPING CHARGE and no tax depending on where you live. Zeuspaul
