Hello Mr. Sam,

Good to see you on this "very active" thread. By the way, I'm still long SFAM (for the long haul) but took some profits at 36 3/4. I may rebuild below 30. I have added some shorts to my portfolio (I'm now net 70% long) because I consider 1997 to be a difficult year for stocks since the overall market, particularly the blue chips (including techs such as MSFT with a P/E of almost 50!), appears stretched. This doesn't mean that there aren's any good values around -but less than last year-, and even those will be dragged down by a correction or two. A year for careful stock picking, and not getting overextended into margin territory...

ACVC is back to sequential growth far beyond their current P/E and is in a confidence building stage after their 1996 loss of the Comdex OEM business. This is alway the kind of play I look for: solid growth, underfollowed by the big boys, and possible P/E expansion (just like SFAM) once the stock pops up on the street's radar screens.

Your comments about ACVC products' reception in a large organization are encouraging.

I think we are going to enjoy this one.

Robert
