Cirrus, RE:"So you are saying the problems AMD had were on the .35 process"... Yes, AMD had trouble ramping .35 so they just ditched it mid-strean in April and started processing .25 wafers. In June is when they really started to ramp. .25 has gone extremely well except with the mask problem on the CXT core. They came a long way in a short time but it caught up with them. Now it's supposedly fixed but they are set back a couple months. If this hadn't happened, Intel and AMD would both be selling 450 MHz chips... Problem with FEB vs now is that Intel has lucked out. A couple months with a K6-2 450 and a K6-3 before the Katmai would have really helped AMDs image. So no AMD is still a bit behind where as they could have pulled even MHz wise. Jim
