Is the Vodaphone takeover of ATI good for the Q? I, for one, thought that a Bell Atlantic takeover of ATI would have meant a national CDMA competitor to Sprint. Therefore good for the Q. That will not happen. What will? Vodaphone has been 100% GSM around the world. Will this mean VOD will convert ATI to GDM in the US? to W CDMA? BUT it is true that the Q and VOD ran tests to show that a CDMA overlay to GSM was both technically and economically feasible and cost effective. Will this give an advantage to the Q worldwide and even in Europe? Comments? Chaz
