Clean, All sorts. They own part of Globalstar LP. They own part of QUALCOMM Inc. They are a big GSM user. They use cdmaOne. They will use anything that makes sense in the particular situation. I've been an Airtouch customer for cdmaOne using a QCP820 in the USA and am now a Vodafone customer for GSM in NZ using Alcatel handsets.

They have conducted with QUALCOMM a GSM overlay using cdmaOne in Newbury, England which was successful and will form the basis for cdma2000 overlays of GSM. They have got it all covered. They have thought cellphones would be very very big time from about the mid 80s. Maybe sooner. They have bet accordingly. They have realized Globalstar and cdmaOne will be big too. They have won their bets.

They are going shopping. They are cleaning up!
