I'm not worried about a Intel threat. Did Intel put Us Robotics out of business? There is a hell of a lot more Robotics modems out there than Intel modems. Intel makes one hell of a microprocessor but that doesn't make them successful at everything. Intel has tried a lot of things but hasn't always been successful. I'd be more worried about Intel's ability to play catch up than S3's ability to hold their majority share of the market. Who knows? What happens if S3 starts making their own microprocessor with video, audio and modem capablities built in? Its just as much a possibilty as Intel overtaking S3. I really don't understand how this stock is trading in the same range that it did last year after 4 successful quaters, settling of lawsuit, reduction in inventory to the point of not being able to satisfy demand, market domination and new products.
