P&F sell signal generated July 27th, and I got out on July 27, w/ dow @ 9028. However, it showed problems coming long before that day. Buy signal generated, I think, Oct. 8. Would have to check thread for date. P&F is great. Mix in a little MACD, trend lines and Donald Sew's index updates and you'll be fine.
