Hi, I'm a newbie refugee from the Yahoo board and, to a lesser extent, Raging Bull. I got tired of reading too much juvenile bullshit, and figured that if people had to pay for the service, it would make them a little more responsible--so I plunked down $200 for a lifetime membership this morning.
I'm long WAVX, EGRP, and NTKI (soon to be CNDN/NTKI, I hope). My investment in WAVX is purely speculative--I wouldn't be completely astonished to see it go to zero, but I also believe that if it hits, my 2,000 shares will be worth a small fortune in 5 years (I'm not a daytrader).
Unfortunately, I wouldn't know a wavemeter if it beat me on the butt with a banjo--so I don't know if I will have much to add to the very technical posts which I see here (and on Raging Bull, once you wade through the crap).
I do believe that the internet is going to change the way that we live our lives (already is, and it's still in its infancy), and that e-commerce is the wave (sorry...) of the future. Good luck.
