Hi Ken, I caught that article in the WSJ too. The un/bundling aspect of HFC cable delivery for integrated voice, data, content is extremely interesting.

What are your thoughts on the matter of cable company unbundling of outside plant? Inside head end provisions? Internet related router and gateway infrastructure?

I guess the most crucial test is when they begin providing voice services, which would tend to put them in the category of common carrier provider, which is what they are strongest against.

The FCC is said to be leaning strongly in favor of leaving TCI alone on this point, with the FCC's Kennard strongly suggesting that they should be left alone to do their thing. Do you agree?
