I am into TA big time. In your above statement you imply that TA people don't spend enough time "understanding fundamentals of the economy, the market, the sector and the stock, they might do better."
Just to let you know, This is all I do when it comes to TA and that is where I spend most of my time. This is what TA is all about!! I have no idea why you have assumed that TA is not concerned with these highly important subjects. Have you read any books on TA and if so can you name some of these books. What do you know about TA? Not much if you think TA is not concerned with the above subjects. Most people that claim to know TA or make statements about TA have mediocre opinions about TA in the first place. You can't make statements about something you don't know anything about.
