When the various people calculated yields there is an assumption that all the chips from the wafers fabricated were shipped during the quarter. It is quite possible that AMD has a bunch of 300 MHz parts that they were not able to move in the quarter. These 400 Mhz reject chips could make a material difference in any yield estimates.
