I did not realize your post was tongue-in-cheek, because you sounded exactly like my husband, except he would never say, let's go to Hawaii or Vegas. The first year we were dating, for Christmas he gave me a crock-pot. I did say I wanted one, when he asked me, so I should not complain.<g>
