"Who knows if ABX bought at over 5 bucks?"
I've yet to see any filing with the BCSC that show ABX going above the
10% mark. And until they do, they aren't buying. So.... can anyone
show me where they bought more then 10%?

I did find these:
ARGENTINA GOLD CORP
RAND, WILLIAM A. 4 0 CM 12-24-1998 0 20 3,000 0.000 35,000
TD ASSET MAN INC 3 2 CM 12-18-1998 3,867,000 0 0.000 3,867,000

I believe that ABX extended their offer in the hopes that Newmont would step up and take it off ABX hands. "All they have to do is step up to the plate, offer 8 bucks and they get a bargain." This I can see. And this I believe ABX wants to happen.

PS: I'm not paranoid, a paranoidal personality would've attack first, as opposing to asking. And you should read my messages for the last two years. No-one likes a short term gold bear. Even if he likes certain plays. They just can't handle it. So I asked. You know I question much of all that is written, but I'm fair {most of the time} You opinion on areas plays are very well respected, and for the greater part correct, but some of this ARP play seems to be a miss. I admitt I'm not in it YET! But am quickly making a decision on my beliefs, and may well act on it soon, if at all.

PS: I should've asked you in a PM.
