Proverbs 30:4 "Who hath ascended up into heaven, or descended? who hath gathered the wind in his fists? who hath bound the waters in a garment? who hath established all the ends of the earth? what is his name, and what is his son's name, if thou canst tell?" Romans 8:29 "For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren." Genesis 1:26 "And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness..." I John 5:7 "For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one." The Old Testament foretold the coming of the Lord Jesus. The New Testament describes the fulfillment of those prophecies. There are those who deny that Jesus is part of the triune nature of God known as the Trinity. There are those that deny that He was God in the flesh but refer to Him as "a" god. Prescribing to this doctrine separates a person from realizing the full magnitude of who Jesus was......
