Hello.

I've been following this thread for the past week. I've been
enjoying the intelligent perspectives and the respect everyone
has for one another (which is obvious in each of your posts).

I purchased CSCC at 74 and averaged down to about 66. Needless
to say, I'm not a happy camper right now... but I'm in it for the
long run.

Does engineer or anyone else have any specific, concrete information
on why CSCC resisted being bought by CSCO ? It would seem to me
that CSCC would have jumped at the chance. If I remember correctly,
CSCO owned about 15% of CSCC at one time (and owns about 3% now).

I've heard (rumoured) that CSCC wants to expand its product breadth
to be able to compete with CSCO on a broader market basis (obviously
this would take a long time). On the other hand, it was also my understanding that the CSCC founders' MO was to start a company then
sell it and move on. These two comments are not based on any solid facts I have, but I would love to hear if any of you have any
information which might support or discredit them.

BTW, CSCC was shown as having approx. 7.1M shares shorted as of
Jan. 15 in IBD.

Regards.
