Dennyv: I uncharacteristically ordered the second fastest processor rather than the 450 Mhz. Too much price premium for the extra 50 Mhz. Being a computer nerd by trade, I love new systems.

This one is a Dell 400 Mhz with a 12.6 Gb HD, 128 Mb Ram, 16 Mb STB nVidia TNT 3D Video Card, 40x Cd ROM (No DVD), the new Turtle Beach 320V sound card and the Harmon Kardon speakers (for my wife since I have my own "special" speakers already).

And of course, a 21" Monitor. I wanted the Trinitron 21" inch but, again, wasn't willing to pay the $230 premium over the standard Dell monitor. I originally had it as a 19" Trinitron but figured the extra 2 inches was more important than the Sony name.

I can't wait to get it, and I am not sure why. I usually get a new system every 2-3 years but I have had my current one since 93, and upgraded it to a 166 2 years ago.

I am really looking forward to the monitor.

J
