I wasn't rubbing it in. That was a mea culpa, since I was the one who lashed out at Shell last week.

I've felt all along that Brian Billick and Randall Cunningham were overrated, and that the Vikings offense has looked better than it is because of the poor opponents. I saw Minny's offense sputter a number of times during the year, but they always went back to the Moss alley-oop to bail themselves out.

We won ugly against the Niners because they know us so well. It's like when two brothers play hoops, and foul a lot and score little. This win was "ugly" because the Vikes are so talented. I thought this was one of the most evenly played games I have seen in a long time.

Chandler threw a couple of wobblers, but that's is pretty rare from him. His forte is accuracy, normally.

I won't be in Miami. I'll be at home watching with a couple of diehards who stuck out the last 30 years of gloom & doom.
