your last paragraph - I know that - THAT was my point. And how in the world do you let the past be the past and just simply look to the future ?? How do you negate past history, either in Financials, or in Management's Character, or anything else you or i might deem 'important' as to help make a decision as to if we buy in or not ?? I know somebody that will DD a company to death, but his FINAL decision is, If the Company's home office main front doors face South or West, he BUYS. If they face North or East, he doesn't. To some of us, that is crazy, but to him, it works. (don't ask me how, and don't ask me his holdings) I don't mean FNTN - I mean ANY company. There are lots of companies that bring in 'Saviors', that cannot save the company....... and granted, some DO. See Lou Gerstner at IBM, but see John Sculley at AAPL. Steve Jobs is brilliant - tech-wise, but he founded NExT and it folded, but he goes back to AAPL and look at it now. Lest i remind you all i am NOT an FNTN naysayer, i just asked a question as to why people post what they do..... |
