Facts - Total Mac O/S hardware sales (including clones) grew 9% in Q4 vs Q3. Developer support is there for Mac O/S and for Rhapsody, according to a survey by Dave Winer. Byte Awards given for Cyberdog, Power Macs, Newton 2.0. More industry awards for Quicktime. 533MhZ Exponential Chips coming summer, with unbelievable performance. Summary of Amelio's strategy. Full Details at: devworld.apple.com With Powerbook production coming on full in mid-February, and new "Hooper" model at 200MhZ (fastest notebook, period.) you have to think that the negatives are discounted but the potentials not included. Add in possible "big news" from deals with Microsoft and/or IBM and/or Major Wintel Cloner. Also developments of Java and Internet reduce the need for users to be Windows-compatible. Zacks says $1.39 earnings next year. So we are trading at 12 P/E of next years earnings ! And if this comes to pass, who wouldn't see a brighter future both in earnings and multiples?
