Techie: Westell has a product called SuperVision. It's a multiplexor that hooks to a OC3 (ATM Backbone) 155Mps input and distributes data to numerous ADSL circuits at 6Mps downstream bandwidth and 640Kbps backchannel. US West has stated that they will use the solution in their ADSL deployment. I heard the product won "best-of-show" at Networld+Interop in Las Vegas in early April. This product will allow telcos to distribute both ATM and SONET traffic via ADSL, together with regular phone service. The product accomodates both CAP and DMT technologies.
