The married man I dated was extremely attractive, and had a deep-seated feeling that all he had to do to please was exist. Which was actually the case, for a long time, because I already had everything else I needed. But, when I needed something from him, I couldn't have it. In retrospect, I think I was just trying to control him. I have cats, I know the drill, some beings exist only for themselves. |
