I did go to the site you provided James and also saw that he said he doesn't know who the antichrist will be, and that nobody does.
There are many who do know, and with applied study to God's word, all of God's children can know. God did not leave us in the dark.
He also said:
"And if in fact the
Lord is coming soon, and he'll be an adult at the
presentation of himself, he must be alive somewhere
today.” ...talking of the antichrist.
Even if it were a man on earth in the flesh, (which it is not), Mr. Falwell qualifies his utterly absurd statement by adding if. Aside from no Biblical evidence to rest on, Mr. Falwell cover his ignorant statement fairly well by the use of if.
Now as to the needs be component of his Jewishness. Again even if the antichrist were to be a man in the flesh on earth( and the word of God assures us it is not), even yet to be born, and even if he needed to be Jewish, there are those who say they are Jews but are not. He need not be a Jew to say he is a Jew.
Mr. Falwell ought ask God to help him study further His word in order that he does not fall. Because if he does fall, he will fall well.
He and many other misguided, and Biblically ignorant church leaders are preparing the church to fall right into the deceiving hands of satan himself.
If the people of God gave God the dedication that He desreves,and studied to understand the word of God as it is written by God, and not by man, then these statemnts of untruths would never get past the pulpits.
