Agreed the US has clout .. Canadians are not giving up on Zellers or Canadian Tire .. now that's a fact & Walmart learned their lesson, they did not come & take over Canada .. they are getting a fair share to be sure .. but it's not the cash cow they assumed. They need big volume & no they are not the cheapest! Walmart has an inventory/dollar value that doesn't change .. XYZ inventory has a value of 10 million dollars let's say .. if CD's are on sale this week then shoes aren't .. that inventory value is a constant .. if you shop Walmart you are not always getting the best deal & that is a fact .. you are getting selection for sure & a very well run operation.

Let's not be comparing Canada to the US .. we are both very good at different things and work very well together. Fact is that with the internet doesn't need a city population to support it, eBay (Canadian founder by the way) could be anyway in Canada, doesn't have to be in the US at all .. no longer does any of that matter as you know. The US are better promoters & that sells products. The truth be told people aren't investing in eBay or any of them because they care if they make money, the traders are flipping them faster than McDonalds .. BII is being flipped the same way by Canadians & Americans .. most could truly care less about the product .. will it fly on the market is all that matters on internet stocks .. at this point the net stocks are just that 'hype' .. they'll take their place in the truest sense at some point .. for now, get in & get out ..
