OK, what if Dreamworks & GBFE? Think about it. If Disney stupidly chooses not to take this opportunity to pick up a time-tested, well-proven, much-loved series of properties such as GBFE represents...this would, IMHO, be the ideal scenario for some other company, especially one like Dreamworks, to take possession of countless potential future blockbusters. Golden Books could help them achieve their full multimedia ambitions. Just a thought. Speculation, but makes sense to me. I grew up with GBFE, as did an Australian filmmaker friend of mine, and we recognize the value of this collection to children and their families. Some other company will, too. I believe GBFE, and we longs therefore, will be more than fine.
