I agree with the points you make 100% My feeling however is that BII is at a disadvantage in the American market period and US brokerages and investors are more likely to lift some obscure internet stock out of the OTC BB to the NAZ before BII. At least in the short term. I am not being prejudiced (I am a Canadian and am patriotic) but the fact that BII is a Canadian company is not helping its cause. I would like to think differently, and I think the I-net is truly global, but if BII was so hot, why have things not turned around more dramatically? As you say, its all momentum and no fundamentals. If BII had gone NAZ in the first place, we'd probably all be damn millionaires by now. The TSE is definitely not the place to get the kinds of exposure the company needs, and I hope this changes soon, otherwise takeovers and consolidation will swallow this one up before it gets its chance.

My one fear is however, and it may be unfounded, is that the NAZ already has enough online auction houses trading. I mean there is nothing original about BII that would truly make it stand out above the competition. Momentum may take hold here, but to what extent I do not know. I feel the environment is ripe for a different kind of Internet company to come forward, one in which competition is virtually non-existent and it can stand out on its own and carve out its own niche. Marketwatch is a good example of this being the second best IPO every brought forward on the NAZ. Investors/daytraders may begin looking at something more original as far as Internet issues are concerned to realize even greater stock valuations/profits, and auction houses may no longer meet that requirement. Just a thought to chew on.
