Pair resisted commodity pricing and lost business-
Lost business resulted in lowered EPS and street disappointments. The volume of units sold went up dramatically and the revenue stayed flat or lost ground because of lowered ASP as a result of trying to meet the competition until it got to be too much for management. The competition is finding it hard to make any margin as well and I expect some rational pricing to return soon. If the RBOCs and CLECs start the ADSL avalanche of orders, then fat times will be back.
