According to a rumor I heard this week end, Group CGI is in the process of closing an important acquisition in the US. The news shall be announced at the annual meeting, January 27th, along with the last quarter earnings. My source told me that his information is coming straight from people working for CGI. It seems that a lot of people are in the know at the headquarters, in Montreal, which would explain why the stock has gone up so quickly since the end of December. Insiders are buying... This information is no more than a rumor and should be treated like it. I certainly don't recommend or suggest to anyone to add to his position on such dismal basis. IMO, CGI Group should be viewed as a long term investment. Of course, shareholders of CGI know that the management is working for an acquisition in the US. So, nobody on this forum would be surprised if something was in the making right now. Let's only hope that it is true. MF
