chalu2, how much more does that cost you?

My practice is to put in a limit order at the ask price on hot stocks on a day basis...if not filled in one or two hours I reposition my offer based on the daily chart activity (15 minutes delayed) along with a live quote.

For example, I just placed tonight a limit order for 300 ATYTF @ 15 3/4 limit which was the closing ask on Friday, when the stock closed up 3-1/16 on 120% increase in volume. (ATI Technologies (not connected with Airtouch)has an IBD ranking of EPS99,RS94,Accum. A) which puts it in pretty good company.

The chart looks outstanding. If I don't get a fill by 7:45 am Pacific Time I will reconsider my bid. Many times a desirable stock will run up on hype only to settle back nicely by mid-day.

Rak up a winner
