Scientists Locate the "Self-Esteem" Gland

SEATTLE, WA - Researchers at the University of Washington have solved a mystery that has baffled them years: Where is the Self-Esteem Located? The break through occured early last week when scientists discovered a small 'seed sized' gland that resides at the base of the human brain. Said one researcher, "We found that this gland controls self-esteem and grows and shrinks in size depending on how a person feels about themselves."

Discovery of the "Self-Esteem" gland may revolutionize the field of education. The 'Self-Esteem' gland promises to be a great aide to families who seek to sue teachers and schools. Parents who suspect that their child's self-esteem has been crushed by a teacher who expects students to do homework, or uses red-ink to grade essays, or gives F's to students who struggle on tests, can now have their child's self-esteem gland measured. If the gland shrinks they can use that as grounds to have a teacher removed or to seek monatary damages.

Employee rights attorneys are also hoping that this discovery will help impact their field. Said one attorney, "Every person's self-esteem gland could be worth its weight in gold.
