Christopher, this is my last comment to you regarding this silly debate of weather technical analysis includes fundamental analysis. It doesn't in its pure form. The IBD method of stock selection does by factoring in earnings per share surprises, etc. which are functions of fundamental data. If you want to redefine technical analysis, feel free to do so, but i will continue to look at it as it has been defined over the last 50 years. Yes, i can tell you what the s&p sectors are, but what does that prove? Is that all I needed to say for you to agree that you are incorrect? By the way, I do feel the new Sector spiders are a nifty way to play a sector of the s&p. There are only nine of these but I believe there are 16 sectors of the market. I didn't say that I agreed with victor's exact price prediction. I do believe he is being silly on that topic, but if it really bothers you , you may want to ask him if this is a serious prediction. good luck,it sounds like you are a big believer in momentum investing and my personal feeling is it will continue to serve investors well, until it doesn't |
