I would love to see encryption built into the CPU. Just like floating point calculations. That way it would be much faster to transfer data encrypted. But somehow I would think INTC would hae a hell of a time gathering support. I would think this would affect those making VPN and the like much more than PGP. After all PGP is available for free right now. it would be intresting to see INTC's everything on a chip idea. But they seem to have a hard time just getting 512K of cache on the CPU let alone sound and video as well. Or is that just another INTC smoke screen as well?
