I am not sure what you mean?

The way I read it, Barrick is pretty well acknowledging that the first bid of $4.00 was off base. The latest bid is still lower than the pressure bid they privately made to management. If anyone wants $5.00, they can sell into the market right now. This is not happening. They (Barrick) have put into the press release words such as "remote" to scare investors into thinking no other company would touch Veladero! As well they are attempting to put a good face on Pascua by saying it is a stand-alone project, thus no pressure to get Valedero to make the Pascua economics adequate.

Still an insulting offer, considering the circumstances under which they tried to grab the company in December with a holiday season, pre-drill result release sneak bid.

They say it is final, but given the prospects why should ARP shareholders sell at all. We just have to wait for the next round of drilling results. No rush....maybe it is Barrick which is in a tight spot!
