Whisper site: earningswhispers.com Beware of the whisper numbers tho. The sites never speak to the company and I don't think they speak to the analysts either. More rumor than fact. If you read the latest analysts reports on SD, you could also come to the conclusion that they could possibly do a little better than the posted numbers. The analysts don't want to get burned again so they indicate there might be a little upside surprise. But also consider the ML analyst only has his official EPS number at 32-cents on $112 million sales. The whisper number at above site is 36. ...thats a lot of difference. But Merrill report dated Jan. 7 says this: " We believe there is a reasonable possibility that the company can exceed our earnings forecast and build some backlog for 1Q99."
