Mike: I don't necessarily see BLDPF as a threat to the petroleum industry. Jeeez, just look around at this high-tech civilization humans have built, and I defy you to find a way to extricate petroleum out of it. But that's not necessarily as it relates to transportation, which I will admit I don't see Exxon being an energy source provider of by about 2050. The simple fact of it is petroleum is too valuable a commodity to refine, stick in a tank and then burn!

Therefore, petroleum will always have a place. However, industry consolidation will most probably occur as, once FC technology matures, gasoline will no longer be a high demand item. At least that's my read of the 'ol crystal ball... So where to place yer monies when looking 20 years or so out? Me thinks BLDPF is a good speculation. As is ultra-capacitor manufacturers, high-tech plastic battery and solar-cell type companies and a slew of other "futuristic" potentials.....
