Brian,

AMD failed miserably in 4th quarter 1998, the once in many year quarter with strong PC demand, especially low-end PC category.

I don't see how AMD can achieve better earning growth in a seasonally weak first quarter, and the AMD analysts shared the similar view and lowed their earning estimate after AMD flopped.

Even the only upgrade from Needham & Co indicated a $0.70+ earning for whole year of 1999! That confirmed AMD is heading to below $20.

Brian: what, if any fact, can turn you to bearish to AMD? How much $$ did you loss (I mean make :-P) from AMD investment?
