Hi John,

I think that margins will continue about where they are right now. White box manufacturers will continue to apply some pricing pressure, and if margins expand, marginal players will become profitable, and the business will attract more competitors. Remember, it was IBM's high prices that attracted startups like Compaq, and Michael Dell started as a white box vendor.

My guess is that Dell is looking at increasing the breadth of its offerings, and seeking to leverage itself into other, closely related areas.
