<I would much rather deal with a person whose conscience I don't agree with, than someone without any principles, or a religious nut.>
That makes no sense. Even someone described as a "religious nut" has a conscience. I think the writers of Star Trek said it best: The best bad guys to write for are the ones who feel they are heroes in their own mind.
Everyone has a conscience. Not everyone's conscience is flawless.
<Let the sinless cast the first stone>
Gee, that means no one in the entire world is fit to toss even a pebble. If you take that to the extreme, the Senate certainly has no authority to remove Clinton from office, nor does even a police officer have the authority to arrest a crook! Neither does Larry Flint have any right to dig up dirt on any Republican, but then again, in the case of the Devil-wannabe, Bible verses don't apply.
<Man, it is none of our business and we didn't elect Slick because he is a saint!>
I disagree. I was a former Clinton supporter. I believed him to be a man of sufficient character for the presidency, believing that his past sins were dealt with.
Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me. I've been fooled once by that man of dishonor. Never again.
