Hi Tim:<use of fed calls as a trading "technique"> Don't tell anyone, <ggg> but as far as I have been able to determine, none of the brokers really care if you borrow down to, say, 25% equity level. It may be that I am able to, because I worked my way down to that level gradually, and done it say, 10 times, before I started really borrowing amounts over one million dollars that way. I asked whether they cared, or if I was doing anything which would act against me later on, and they said no. But just keep this between "us gals"... I mean, give me a break. If at certain times in the market you go into extremely high margin, and of course, if your timing is right, and if you are doing this with a stock like dell has become (lower beta) can anyone tell me this is not a nice way to make money? Tim, you know probably from my other stuff, that I initially started doing this, because I uas accustomed to borrowing very heavily, in real estate. In other words, it does not concern me, to "play around" with high debt, in business. What am I missing? Did I just get off lucky last year? I guess so.......purr purr purr purr purr purr purr
