Maybe not. There's an old Georgia custom of hedge marriage (date rape) It's always safe to assume a Georgia-born Republican is illegitimate.

"Dear Abby,

I am a young Georgia man engaged to marry a beautiful (passionate) and rich young woman. I'd really hate to lose her. My father is in jail for mopery. My mother still works the streets. All my sisters are whores. My brother went to Auburn, and then became a lawyer and a wealthy market maker and joined the Republican Party. My problem is should I tell my fiancee about my brother being a Republican?
