AKLM -- IBD

Trippi,

Read it. Thanks for the heads-up.
I have to say, it reads like what media people call a blow-job: It emphasizes facts already built into the current stock price (the large orders for Turok 2, the recovery from the incorrect moves made re platform in 96 and 97), and ignores crucial facts, like the stock dropping 23% since earnings came out, the probably mistaken emphasis on Nintendo 64 over PlayStation, the delay for ShadowMan, the missed Christmas for South Park, and the two weeks or so of Christmas buying missed by Turok 2, which didn't come out until the 11th of Dec. And why give the CEO uncritical room to say: "There are fewer publishers vying for those (Nintendo 64) dollars, so there's arguably a bigger prize to be had," It's a signal of disingenuousness. It's not exactly like saying, "These Edsels of ours are finding their way to a very select group of non-Cadillac buyers," but it's also running far and wide of the fact that PlayStation makes up 2/3 of the market and that AKLM has 2/3 of their profits coming from Nintendo 64.
South Park is indeed sold out in the Toys R Us I've called, but there are plenty of Turok 2s; I don't know what their projections were, but the rush on that game might be over with. It doesn't seem to be the Number 2 game, either, as claimed by the CEO in the article: messages.yahoo.com@m2.yahoo.com
Mind you, I don't giving an airborn fornication for any of this, but the disjunction between the media/analyst blitz for this company and its current stock momentum is alarming.
That said and done: I think it will consolidate somewhere between 9 and 12 for a few months, but there is always a risk of mega-bailing by the big boys who bought in such quantities in Dec. In that case, next support I see is in low 6s. Lots of money still to be made, though more through position trading than buying and holding, IMHO.
