I wonder what percentage of people came up with INTC to buy and hold when it was at $15 pre-split. Take another look at most individual stocks. Most move between ranges and almost never ever split. INTC is in a group of about 50 stocks that did very well over the long haul out of about 12,000 choices. If you make the wrong buy and hold decision you aren't doing any better. Its easy in hindsight to make it sound how obvious an INTC pick was.
