Vsoft Debuts Videoclick(TM) 2.0 Software, A Comprehensive
Management Solution for Video on Demand

VideoClick 2.0 Featured at Showcase '99 Conference

SAN DIEGO, Calif., Jan. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Vsoft, a leading provider of software products for Video On
Demand management, today debuted VideoClick(TM) 2.0 software at the Showcase '99 Conference for
innovative technology. VideoClick 2.0 is the first comprehensive, fully-integrated, networked Video On
Demand management and workflow software solution. VideoClick 2.0 helps organizations more easily
distribute, manage and manipulate video content throughout the enterprise.

This major release of the company's flagship software lets users create links between a video and other
"documents," share video clips and messages among users, add bookmarks to videos for easy editing,
and view streamed video from a Web browser. VideoClick 2.0 will also ship as a stand-alone product, a
"digital VCR" optimized for laptop-based applications. With this component, any video clip can be loaded
onto a laptop for editing, viewing, or presentations.
The new product will ship in 60 days.

The January 1999 New Media magazine gave VideoClick 1.6 a "thumbs up" in the first comparative review
for streaming video products, citing its "exceptional information sharing capabilities." VideoClick 2.0 is
currrently being evaluated by the M.I.T. New Media Laboratory and Lawrence Berkeley Laboratories at the
University of California. The new version offers even greater multimedia integration, ease of administration
and use, and price/performance.

The patented VideoClick streams MPEG-1 and MPEG-2 video to multiple Windows- based desktops, over
LANs and Intranets, on Windows NT or Unix-based servers. VideoClick is the backbone for any
organization with extensive video needs - including video content management, viewer access
administration, user management and process/workflow management. VideoClick 2.0 supports
Microsoft's DirectShow(TM) software decoder. VideoClick offers such "must-have" features as frame
accuracy; clear fast-forward and fast-rewind; indexing; bookmarking; advanced search and retrieval; and
real-time viewing and editing during acquisition.

Vsoft is targeting early adopters of digital video and Video On Demand systems, who need an effective
way to manage their video content and associated work flows. These include video production houses, TV
stations, universities, and companies using video presentation tools for the mobile sales force.

Vsoft (www.vsoft.com) develops and markets an innovative family of software products for Video On
Demand management. Vsoft, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary located in Boston, Massachusetts,
supports the company's sales and marketing efforts in North America.
