Great thread.

I'd love to quit my job and daytrade/position trade, but just don't have the capital. I have turned $10k into $25k since September, while staying away from the Internet stocks (for the most part), so my early thinking is that this is something I might be good at.

Hedge Fund/Investment Club?:

Anyway---question for the group---has anyone attempted to make a living out of this by raising funds from friends/relatives and then managing that money in a daytrading/position trading kind of way. In this scenario, you would make all the gains on your own capital, while retaining some portion, say 20% of the profits of those whose money you are investing?

If yes, how has it worked out?

Thanks
Allan
