Well maybe you have a government job but go talk
to a Manitoba farmer. And the Americans think we are dumping wheat.

Canada's wealth is squandered. We are toast. Right now 65% of the GNP is the civil service. We can no longer support them in the style they have been accustomed to. I can always pick out a civil servant on the street. Grey hair, wearing about $800.00 worth of Eddie Bauer and Tilley Endurables, 25 dollar hairdo and casually overweight. The working geologist can be noticed by his rusty Toyota and his old clothes.

38% of our foreign exchange comes from the export of metals and mining products. Canadian Governments have been trying assiduously to hange that to 0.0%. That is their idea of progress.

When they do we will be starving not just figuratively. We will be hard pressed to afford food.
