Bob, we disagree but rudeness is uncalled for. I used to have your
understanding but more study brought me to what I believe is a deeper
understanding. If you will go back and re-read the scriptures I sited last night and those herein with an open heart, you should see that God's universal truths/laws were not ended by his son.

The Arabs are cousins, sons of Abraham through Ishmael (which means God hears). The Muslems believe much of the Torah...follow the food laws, etc. It is the Christians who have abolished God's laws in favor of the "lawlessness" that pervades our society. The concept of no laws-only grace to cover sins-has given the license to live a sinfull life in "the church". "Shall we sin so that grace may abound? God forbid." Romans 6:1

True Christianity is a Jewish religion with the "New"Testament having nothing new--only a fulfillment of the "Old" Testament.(Man,not God, divided the Bible.) Modern day Christianity bears little resemblence
to the first century church in Jerusalem. Little of it is truely
biblical. In Rome came "the great falling away". 2 Thess. 2:3 The
Prodestant Church followed Rome in replacing God's seventh day Sabbath
(on every calander and every language) with the Sun God's Day--Sunday
and the replacement of God's holy days (in Livit. 23 with Roman pagan
holy days), etc. These things can be easily verified.

Paul, a Pharisee-Acts 26:5, said he never broke the law--Acts 25:8 and 24:14--yet he was accused of it. Stephen was stoned as he accused the Jews there of not keeping the law! (Acts 7:51-53)

The verses Christians usually site against God's laws is Acts 15,
but they always ignore verse 21. "For Moses of old time hath in every city them that preach him, being read in the synagogues every Sabbath day"

The apostles went to the synagogues to preach the Messiah of Israel.
There the Gentiles came in to listen (Acts 13:42-44) and learn
about the Messiah and the law "as Moses was read in the synagogues every Sabbath(Saturday)."

The "reminant" and the 144,000 are Jews (by birth or rebirth)and the saints are law keepers who "keep the commandments of God and have the faith of Christ". Rev. 12:17;14:12 and 22:14. It is clear they won't be anti-simmetic.

"If thou will enter into life, keep the commandments..."

It is popular now to say God's grace saves us, forget his law but
that is not biblical. (When the Bible was codified they wanted to
leave the book of James out for this reason!)

Grace does save us because we are imperfect but don't forget God's ways, laws, holidays(in favor of man's non-biblical ones). If you love him you will keep his laws(1 John 2:3-6; 5:2-3)"if we don't the truth is not in us." They should be written on your heart if you are under the New Covenant! (Heb. 8:8-10; Jere. 31:32-34)
