When we are talking about stock value analysis, we must pay attention to the company's business life circle. Generally speaking, value analysis is more fitful and useful as the company becomes more mature, for instance, value analysis on MSFT makes much sense now than it did 10 years ago.

From this point of view, I don't think value analysis on internet stocks dose much help. Internet is in its infancy year now. The key here is the technology trend and a company's position and potential. Remember the early 90's? In those days, many still doubted the viability of the internet on a large scale. Today the same thing is happening. Some Wall Street people just can not understand the future.

As an investor, focus on tech trend. As a trader, focus on momentum.
