Dear LL,

I agree with most of what you say, but do you honestly believe that the keeping of the law is required in order to enter the Kingdom of Heaven? Why would Jesus bother to come if this was the case? He came because Man is not capable of keeping the law, and God decided to offer Man a way to enter Heaven through grace! If the keeping of the law is required, then the verses about narrow is the way take on a whole new meaning -- as in you could probably count those eligible to enter Heaven on one hand. If I am misunderstanding you, please let me know what do you believe is required to ultimately be in Heaven for a Jewish person and a non-Jewish person? The New-Age would have us believe that "works" get you in Heaven. Simply tally the bad and good and hope that the good outweighs the bad -- this surely makes Jesus sacrifice seem trivial at best and ridiculous at worst.
