OK---there's got to be a subtle, casual, modest way to mention this.. penni clears throat: Hi! Speaking of soaking marijuana buds in alcohol, I just happened to notice that Moms-on-call is on my grocery store shelves. Well---maybe that was a little strained. I'd better try again...I won't mention the name of the magazine this time -yeah, that's subtle Say! Speaking of well-toned bodies and jocks, guess what i saw right next to the magazines on weight lifting in the grocery store! Yeah--that's better--but what if no one asks what I saw??? Maybe that was TOO subtle? penni checks post to which she's responding for possible cue--ahhh-: Funny you should mention May 15, Alex! Why? Um-because it'll be almost four months exactly on May 15 since my article in Moms-on-Call hit the stands this very weekend! Yup--it's right there in your grocery store." DArn it, no one seems to be listening. Maybe if I just wave a copy in front of them like I did the guy next to me in the store and say--"Oh gee! How funny! Here's the magazine I wrote an article for--heehee---yup! here it is." Although he wasn't very impressed, either. Didn't even ask me to autograph a copy. Maybe I just won't say anything---there's bound to be a graceful seque come up soon..
