Then there's Watergate, which, like the current imbroglio, had its roots in Republican dirty tricks. If you want to build a legal / ethical mountain out of this to hang your particular revolutionary moral reformation on, be my guest, but I'd say you'd have to consider the "integrity" of Hyde, Starr, Rehnquist, Lott, Livingston, Barr, and all the other righteous clowns in the equation also. I know, it's off topic from the ever popular "Clinton Antichrist" equation, but Falwell cleared him on that one. I guess we still have to deal with Clinton - Capone and Clinton - Caligula, though. |
