I'm not sure if my answer meets your question. My ISP gave me a floppy with the stuff I
needed to get on-line when I signed up. The install went easily and added Trumpet
Winsock, Eudora, and Netscape to my system. It worked OK right away. Luck of the
Irish, PW.

I later downloaded Microsoft's browser -- It worked first time too! <<

I thought I was the only one still using Win 3.1. I had the exact same experience as you did getting on line only I did it in reverse. I started with Netscape and then downloaded Explorer. My new system will come with Explorer but I think I will stick with Netscape.
